Literally the most hilarious thing I’ve read all week. Honestly I wonder if anyone who was involved in this article actually believes that.

It just reads like more placation of the angry masses. “no need to burn things down, we promise he will be gone soon, no protesting necessary either”

There was a moment when Trump wrote that Walmart must “eat tariffs” that I thought "oh we’re getting close now. Of course I don’t want the actual reign of terror that followed the French revolution, but I also wouldn’t feel bad if a few examples were made.

If there’s one thing that the last 4 years proved its that the systems we have in place to check abuses of power are woefully slow to respond or to change. The only justice he might ever face is the Mangione variety.

I’ll believe it, when I see it.

For the past 8 years they’ve been saying he “may” do this, or he “may” get punished for that, and everyone twiddled their thumbs until morons elected him into office again, making it all impossible again

The only real chance is with state charges. POTUS cannot pardon state or civil offenses.

Leticia James has been investigating the allegations of market manipulation, but that’s the only potential state case of which I’m aware.

I will simply reuse my statement from the last time any sort of “consequences” were in the news:

I’m basing my conclusions on precedent, rather than wishful thinking. Hence, I will continue to assume Trump will get away with everything forever until proven otherwise.

Everyone who still reads articles that say 'blah blah looking at, blah blah might be" and gets hopeful are morons. He will keep getting away with whatever he wants. These articles have been happening for 10 years now and nothing EVER HAPPENS.
