He wasn’t kidnapped.
He’s probably the only one there that wasn’t.
I haven’t read any of the books, but you are absolutely correct about Anakin from the movie. He and his mom both were for it. Sure, Anakin had some reservations, but that makes sense. His guardian certainly gave permission.
