      When I went to core school (mandatory for ages 6 through 15) swimming was a required subject. We swam in one of many tax funded swimming halls in the area.

      Edit: I’m from Sweden, same as Greta although a fair bit older

        Yeah same, there are like 0% of swedes that can’t swim if it’s physically possible.

        I was actually a bit shocked when I moved more south in Europe that there were people who couldn’t swim (or ride a bicycle).
