I’d probably sell it. There is undoubtedly someone with a project truck looking for a deal on one of those.
Might be fun to rebuild but I’d imagine it’ll be in the way more than anything.

The artist who the AI stole this from has a cool vibe*
I had a co-worker who couldn’t stop bragging about an angle grinder he got for $5 at Harbor Freight.
I thought that’s a pretty good deal, so I went in and got some gardening tools, in particular a shovel that was only a few bucks.
The very first time I stuck that shovel into dirt, the metal head bent and sheared off.
The next day I told my co-worker what happened, and he went on to admit his angle grinder only powered on one time before it broke. “But it was only $5!” He added.
I think everyone gets their “one and done” experience there.
Two of them gave up on it indefinitely before we found the right DM.
This isn’t surprising. WotC had been salivating for another hit like BG3. I suspect whoever they talk into making BG4 isn’t going to be able to clear the bar that Larian has set.
Who is the artist? They got a cool vibe.
I’ve met several billionaires at this point, and there wasn’t really a commonality between all of them except their wealth.
I’ve never had success with randoms because all it takes is one person to really dampen the game, and the odds of that happening are just too high.
Which is a shame because I’ve ran into good players who just can’t find a group to click with.
Maybe they meant the installable mod manager, Vortex.
Oof, but yeah.
In my mind, having “something” to show is better than nothing, even if that something is mediocre.
I know first hand that JRPGs are a hefty projects to make, but I’m a little surprised they opted for shutting it all down and not going for Early Access to continue funding, especially as the idea seemed popular.
I can only guess that means the game is still in a pretty bad state.
I think you’ve had too many pancakes.
Most people I know meet up for coffee.
I don’t think its uncommon to have a beer at a restaurant or as a drink or dinner. Meeting up at a bar for drinks as a first date feels funky, at least in my region.
If that’s not your jam then probably don’t push into it. A date should be a comfy experience for everyone involved, if possible.
Up until recently ish, for 3D art I would export UV maps, do my editing, then reimport them to view the changes on my model.
I did this up until it got brought up in a meeting, and a senior guy from a publisher basically called me out saying “Why in the world do you still do that? We moved on from that like 15 years ago!”
So I quietly had to reevaluate my process and learn something new.
In my defense I am not an artist, and despise giving Adobe money.
We say to ‘nuke it’.
So it’ll be like oh I got to nuke this pizza for a minute.
If I had to guess, I’d assume there was bricks once surrounding the cinderblock nightmare. You wouldn’t want a hollow brick pillar so I could see someone just shoving a cinderblock pieces in the middle as they worked their way up, never really expecting it to be seen on its own.
That isn’t the right way to make a pillar like this, but I’m sure this was a string of mistakes and at the end it was some poor bricklayer who had to figure it out with what he had on hand.
… Is this why I couldn’t see your posts? I noticed certain communities were very different when logged in or not on Voyager, I have been reporting it as a bug this entire time.
Some people put a lot of weight into their dreams. Like a chain of thoughts that leads to a deeper realization about something that finally puts it in perspective. This can feel important and it feels like you want to do something with this new perspective.
Some people don’t as they feel dreams are just chaotic nonsense, and trying to read into them is a fruitless endeavor.
I couldn’t remember the name of this one, but looking it up, it actually had really good numbers in the range of 80-150k concurrent players.
So I was wrong, I recalled PUBG being the dominant game at the time with very little of anything else near its numbers.
I suspect we will see a human brain to digital interface. I don’t think it will be “downloading minds” or anything, but I could see someone finding a way to plug a specialized camera or mic in to have a full functioning robotic replacement part.
I’m pretty sure they already have the beginning pieces to this, but its too specialized and expensive to do anything commercial with it yet.
