image caption: a screen capture of a Facebook post consisting of an AI-generated summary of the Wikipedia page about the A-10, and a bad AI image of a fllightline dominated by misproportioned A-10 being serviced exclusively by M4-weilding infantrymen – including, notably, one that appears to be mounted to a Hoveround.

I’m curious about whether the number of A-10s left in operational service exceeds the number depicted by the AI tool.

The aircraft also have armament control panels. and infrared and electronic countermeasures to handle surface-to-air-threats, both missile and anti aircraft artillery.

I love this: They talk about armament control panels like they’re ERA and not a tablet that let’s you switch between guns and bombs. They also talk about flairs and chaff like a middle-schooler trying to pad an essay.

Wait till they find out about the RWR. This thing is invincible!

Does the array of ground targets that an A-10 hits start at zero or one?

All I know is that targets[0] returns “FV107 Scimitar” for some reason, and anytime I try to purge that entry from the array it throws an error.
