Unless it’s a sticker for a skateboard brand or punk band, in which case, straight on the nearest street sign.
You can do that for trump stickers too. For example you can slap “trump//what’s his name” on STOP signs and other unpopular signs. Maybe a fully cover some speed limit signs.
You can, and it wouldn’t be bad, but it’s so hard to do when you have these two options:
Fuck you’re so right
All my brewey stickers from 5 years ago are still looking for a home…
This is so relatable, I’ve carried my bag of stickers while moving houses three times by now.
Make your collection communal at work. It’s better than a candy bowl and just as much fun.
I have stickers from 1999 waiting to be stuck on something appropriate
My niece, the psychopath.
I have a sticker I want to make into a Christmas ornament. It’s an image of santa on the toilet. It’s been in the drawer for, uh, how long have I been married? A while.

My fridge is covered in pride stickers. Any time I get something that’s gay or has rainbows, it immediately goes on the fridge
Who the fuck buys a single sticker?
Depends on the type of sticker. They sell big stickers individually in a lot of places and some places have custom-made specialized stickers which they will sell individually.
When I was a kid, there was a kiosk in the mall that had dozens of sticker rolls and you could pull off as many as you liked from any roll you wanted and buy them. That was awesome.

Upload that motive to an online copyshop and oder in bulk.
I’m guessing that’s exactly how they do it. But they still sell them individually to their customers. The customers seem willing to pay or they wouldn’t keep selling them.
You also have situations like a band selling a sticker. They’re not going to sell you a roll of stickers.

Scan that sticker, upload the scan, order it in bulk. Anxiety gone.
I still don’t think you’re getting this. The band buys in bulk. The fan buys the single sticker.

Fans can order the same sticker off the internet in bulk by uploading the motive to a copyshop. What’s there not to understand? Did you even read what you posted here? It’s about the anxiety where to put a single sticker. And that is gone when you just scan and upload the motive to a copyshop and order a stack for peanuts.
Or they can’t because it’s a local band and also they want to support the band.
Reputable places won’t print shit that infringes copyright.

Just buy a pack. They’re stickers. They cost nearly nothing to manufacture. Me and my friends upload sticker motives to Eastern European online copyshops all the time and order 100 at a time, then split the bill. It’s dirt cheap.
One of my go to pieces of life advice for people is to just put stickers on things
Yep, and similarly, just write/draw/whatever in your cool notebooks. Using them regularly over time is the thing that makes them special. Not some grand effort at perfection.
All well and good as long as it’s something they own themselves. I’ve rather grown to hate all the public anti-vax, racist and far right stickers the idiots share on Telegram and plaster all over public property. Even in the nature reserve I like to walk to relax some dick has put Nazi stickers on every post in sight as well as all over informational signs telling people about the unique wildlife. It makes my blood boil, which is the opposite of relaxing in the forest.

Depends on the time I get it and the kind of sticker.
Is it anything remotely tech related? Goes on a laptop. Else: drawer for an undefined amount of time.
If I go out of my way to buy one, I already know where it’s going.
I just realized I don’t have tattoos for the same reason I don’t stick stickers.
