Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

Having moments of solice is fine. Drowning out the suffering of others to its total exclusion to live your best life is wrong
also like… a lot of the people i see wanting a “non-political space” are living comfortable lives and complaining about work being a bit of an arse
and i’m sitting here like, you have a job? you have a fucking HOUSE? i feel privileged that i don’t have to fight for my basic welfare to afford food and clothes!!!
