Uni Mitsubishi .38 I want it too feel like I’m stabbing the paper when I write
Does it also come in 9mm? I feel like .38 is a bit underpowered.
No, but they do have a 30/30 version
2, and it’s not close.
Probably 1 or 2 would be my style.
I’m the only one going for #4? It’s a uni ball vision elite, and I have about ten refills right now. Have had that barrel for the last fifteen or so years.
People must not know. #4 is where it’s at.
Such a great pen. The ink flows so smoothly!
yeah I don’t know how anyone can be voting for #5. it has to be the worst pen on the list. uncomfortable, dries up easily, doesn’t write consistently. #4 is amazing, but they do have one better but it’s not in the picture.
I would know if it, if only for curiosity’s sake
If I HAVE to use a ballpoint, it’s going to have to be a rollerball. Like the Uniball. But really, I’d take just about any fountain pen over any of them.
A Lemmy of culture I see. Love the Visconti.
Edit : Just noticed the stealth VP over on the right.
Thanks, I think it’s one of my best looking pens. The VP isn’t a VP, it’s a MoonMan A1. I’m not sure if it’s made by Majohn or not, but it is super similar to their A1 and A2 if it’s not. Writes well, good seal. For under $30. Highly recommend.

1 & 2 top picks, then 6 & 7. The rubber sleeves are nice for short notes and whatnot. They get slippery from sweating eventually. Maybe just a me thing.
Damn, pen so out of shape that he’s sweating.
Show me the fucking feather
Number 7 100%
Ahhh Bic, where it’s 2 main products are also the most stolen products.
Windsurf boards and razor blades? Yes Bic makes those.
I used to live quite near to one of the bic factories in France. Ahhhh I’m obsessed with Bic pens.
if it’s a true bic. knockoffs might not work very well.
The day I first gripped a #5, had there been clickbait thumbnails back then, mine would have read:
This Changes EVERYTHING!I’m lamenting the fact that this scenario means I’ve lost all my fountain pens, but I’d go with #5 in a .38
2 or 3.
I use to love G2’s, but they fell off. I found a sharpie pen a while back and was shocked by how well it wrote, it’s now my goto.
Sharpie pens are the best!
Uniball Signo 207
Writes easy and the ink is bold and dries fast. Comfortable enough for having to write 7 pages of client notes every night, even with my arthritic hands.
This is the true answer. The 207/207+ ink is the greatest. The sharpie pens are close though, especially with the weight of the metal barrel.
I have already chosen. And the one that I have chosen for life is not in this set.
Don’t leave us hanging! What is it?!
These. Albeit in various colours.
No zebra? Guess I’m never writing again.
