Summary

After voting in Florida, Donald Trump refused to reveal his stance on a state ballot measure that would prevent restrictions on abortion until fetal viability, around 21 weeks. The measure would overturn Florida’s current six-week abortion ban if approved.

Trump, who appointed conservative justices instrumental in overturning Roe v. Wade, avoided directly answering reporters’ questions, snapping at one to “stop talking about it.”

His stance on abortion has been inconsistent, previously criticizing the six-week ban as too strict but also labeling Democrats as “radical” on the issue.

The Florida measure is one of several abortion-related ballot initiatives in nine states, potentially impacting millions of women’s access to abortion.

Trump: “What do you advise I say on abortion?”

Trump advisor: “Just… just stop talking about abortion.”

Trump, 10 minutes later to a journalist: “Stop talking about abortion!”

Trump makes GW Bush look intelligent, aware of international issues and statesmanlike. I didn’t used to think that that was possible

I agree. In reality they may not be terribly different knowledge wise but it makes a lot of difference when someone acts like a human vs acting confidently incorrect (lying) all day every day.

Well that means we have to ask every.fucking.time .

“Mr PeeResident, have you changed your stance and goals on human rights and how it extends to bodily autonomy for women?”

You can tell this is the one issue he has no real stance on. His handlers are telling him he has to pander, but he’s comically bad at it.

This means that for everything else, if you ever wonder if he truly believes the shit that comes out of his mouth, he absolutely does. We know what he sounds like when he doesn’t.

Well you can’t be a combative journalist. If they refuse, what can you do?

It’s not “combat” to press a walking bag of shit to answer a question. If they refuse to answer, you just keep asking so they look like the massive piece of shit that they are for refusing.

That’s what a responsible journalist would do. But this shit journalist refused to do their job.

Sorry but that’s the fast track to being banned and never being allowed to ask a question again. Freedom of the Press doesn’t mean freedom of access to politicians.

Thank you. It’s odd that people are stuck on this “yeah you should call them a liar to their face” thing.
