Some people are in it for the dietary benefits and others are in it for the animal welfare. Dietary is actually “plant based” but most people just say vegan, even it it doesn’t quite fit.

It really depends on the type of “vegan”. Some people are in it for the dietary benefits and others are in it for the animal welfare. Dietary is actually “plant based” but most people just say vegan, even it it doesn’t quite fit.
There’s also the environmental ones.
And the squeamish
