A positive score comment chastising an evil dictatorship for supporting a fascist gets removed.
I don’t know. I don’t want to play apologetics for the tankies, but showing up in a tankie community and telling them that they’re supporting fascism just sounds like trolling to me. You know what you’re doing, and them taking the bait isn’t power tripping.

Ratio is meaningless. Communities are not democracies, and mods have every right to ensure people don’t get into bad-faith arguments. Additionally, some instances have downvotes turned off and some users don’t bother with them even if they’re on. Votes are necessarily a biased sample, so pointing to your ratio is about as useful as saying, “But look how many chocolate coins I got!”
Anyway, removing a comment about Tankies doesn’t mean you support Tankies, especially when it’s obvious ragebait. “You don’t agree with me, therefore you’re against me” is irrational.
Also, anticapitalist ≠ Tankie, just as being a communist or socialist or anarchist isn’t equivalent. It just means you don’t like capitalism. How that perspective is expressed in each community will vary, and just because Tankies don’t like capitalists doesn’t mean that it follows that everyone who doesn’t like capitalists is also a Tankie.
There was no argument as you implied, I just made a comment which was perfectly aligned with the community and post it was made on but perfectly disaligned with the Tankie mods.

If you feel their actions were unjust, bring it up with the mods. Make your case, and appeal their decision. Based on your other comments, however, it just seems like you’re looking for sympathy.

What’s a tankie?
People who promote authoritarian regimes such as Joseph Stalin’s USSR and Mao Zedong’s CCP.
It comes from describing people who sided with the Tanks in 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre where a reporter recorded a video of a tank flattening a protester who stood in their way, during nationwide unrest across China which resulted in millions of deaths as the CCP used military directly on its own citizens. It was recorded by journalists from all over the world and led to global sanctions against China from many many nations. It also coincided with roughly the fall of the USSR.
They’re a huge problem here on Lemmy because there are state funded campaigns with troll farms and bots actively promote chaos and destruction in nations that oppose modern day Russia, North Korea, Iran, and China. Their main choice of weapon is pretending to be promoters of communism, anarchism, and liberation of minorities standing against the evil corruption of capitalism, when in practice they don’t support communism or oppose capitalism by definition and those words just mean “their homeland” and “western government” respectively. They call NATO, the worlds largest defence pact and main deterrent from Chinese and Russian expansion, a form of “US Imperialism that oppresses others.”
Tankies want war. They don’t care about minorities or civil rights. They want us to harm ourselves and our nations so that their nation can become stronger.
So by definition not nazis.

While all Nazis may be fascists, not all fascists are Nazis specifically. So it’s incorrect use of language, i.e. at least misinfo if not delivered with intent to mislead that would be disinfo.
While there is a great deal of similarity between the Alt-Left tankies and the Alt-Right MAGATs, that doesn’t mean that tankies are actual Nazis, just that they support them with such misleading rhetoric as BoTh SiDeS sAmE.
So this is definitely flamebait. You weren’t trying to convince anyone of anything, just venting your frustrations at the world. People will be more receptive if you consider that their consent to receive messages should matter as well.
