They don’t have to take it away, they can just set up the backend to blackhole those requests. So presence of the report issue facility does not imply they actually will ever even see the issue.

This really is the dumbest timeline. I can’t even make up satire shit that is more wild than what is now.

It’s like the shitpost version of blitzkrieg. Just overwhelming you with absolute diarrhea for the soul. And it’s working, even though we all know it’s happening.

You know, I had the shitty thought that at least back before chat communication, a robber baron (or it’s equal kind) had to actually hire thugs and henchmen to cause local chaos. Now it’s just some tech oligarch with some bots or a paid anonymous service causing disruption.

We really got fucked over on this one. I’m really not sure how America pulls itself out of this one with the state of education and political polarization. The federal part of our government definitely isn’t offering up any solutions.

You expressed it well. The best solution to our generational crisis is one that takes a generation or so to build-up (education) and that Republicans have already spent at least a generation already tearing down. We’re sitting ducks.

In my view, the only ones that really care are the people whose opinions don’t matter. The Gulf of Mexico will always be the Gulf of Mexico, regardless of what it may legally be called. Much the same way, in my view, X will always be Twitter, And Zuckerberg will always be POS.

I think it’s just disgusting to see these companies I am dependent on bowing down to Trump’s bullshit.

The one group that does understand class solidarity are the wealthy. They’re not bowing to him because they’re all in sync.

Well, yeah, because the United States Geographical Service is the source of truth for geographical names. No surprise Google and Apple follow it. There’s a little more breakdown than that, but that’s the gist of it.

The change is fucking stupid, you know it, I know it, we all know it. Save your fucking ire for all the real shit going down. In comparison, this doesn’t rate a single breath.

This is correct, given a new administration can simply change it back to keep it in line with the rest of the world. Won’t do us much good if there isn’t a next administration, though.

The speed at which these people are capitulating is alarming. I mean it took them decades to even begin to do any kind of rainbow capitalism and they all ditched it like a hot potato in a split second.
