Summary

Minnesota Republican state Sen. Justin Eichorn, who introduced a bill classifying “Trump Derangement Syndrome” as a mental illness, was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from a minor.

Police say Eichorn believed he was meeting a 16-year-old girl but was actually texting undercover officers. His arrest came just a day after he and four other Republican senators introduced the controversial bill.

Eichorn, who is married with four children, was booked into jail and will be transferred to the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center.

Something is really fishy here. Could it be that he just got trapped into something he didn’t really have anything to do with? Planted evidence and such just because he dared go against Trump? I’m just devil’s advocating this edge into the topic.

He didn’t go against Trump. He’s a conservative who wanted to jail people for speaking out against Trump and tried to make an easily abusable law to arrest protesters and have them committed to a psych ward

Oh I got this headline all wrong! You mean he is the guy behind suppressing free speech like “Trump is a total asshole”. Well then good!

Maybe you should read the stories instead of just the headline in the future.

Umm… “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is something MAGA created to make sense out of why anyone could possibly not like Trump- because in their fragile minds, it’s not possible a sane person would not like a criminal rapist.

Essentially, this dude is part of a group of fascist gremlins that are trying to make not linking Trump classified as a detainment-worthy mental illness.

Last time a Republican went to jail it took a long ass while and lots of investigation and litigation and the guy got pardoned. Its just odd hoe swift this came in.

I wonder how long before the fake org called “doge” seeks to defund any police anywhere that are catching pedos, because it is probably just “waste, fraud and abuse” to bust what are probably mostly qons.

        Bloomington Police Department jail

It seems like its not federal. Minnosota Board of Pardons have zero republicans, one is Governor Tim Walz, the other is a Minnesota Supreme Court justice appointed by Tim Walz, and the Attorney General of Minnesota, who is a DFL member, so he has near zero chance of getting a pardon.

Prosecutions that aren’t federal are done by the state. Cities cannot prosecute. The district attorney who prosecutes does so in the name of the state, even if the district attorney is elected by the city. Mayors cannot pardon.

And if the DA drops a case without justificstion, the State Attorney General could pick up the prosecution.

Who would have thought those who love to control gullible people would go after the MOST gullible of us in search of power. It’s almost like they love to control the powerless and vulnerable… Hmm…

Weakness is seeking to control others because it takes a lot of courage, strength and willpower to control our inner beasts/demons/worst impulses/insert your favorite term.

If you are a public figure why would you risk this? I am not confident, but I am pretty sure there was some mid teir Diddy or Epstien he could have talk to.

Whatever. Not surprised, hope he spends the rest of his life in jail.

Modern conservatives lack the creativity to imagine plausible damning accusations.

      They must draw from life.

When they hilariously try, we get “Jewish space lasers” and “pizza parlor child fight club rings.”

Then they get angry that basically every creative and artistic field is dominated specifically by not them. When they get handed a budget to attempt creativity, we get preachfest garbage like “God’s not dead 23” that spends 2 hours basically turning to the camera lecturing viewers about conservative grievances in the form of repetitive gotcha strawman scenarios like it’s Festivus.

That’s the problem with only hating, with only negativity, with only being against change. It’s like trying to grow a flower by watering it with vinegar.
