I’m trying to be empathetic towards what that must be like for him, but…
Many of those who are still sending the emails are sending similar messages each week or are viewing them as a joke.
Seriously. Anyone who’s not taking the opportunity to entertain themselves via their emails is missing out on a chance for a rare level of workplace joy.
If it were me I would be diligently sending in something like this every week:
- Saved $150 billion from the federal budget, I will take no further questions
- Wasn’t woke
- Mission to Mars planned and confirmed for 2026
- Asked my staff every five minutes what they were working on and threatened to fire them if it wasn’t good enough
- Executive time
- Leveraged synergy
