I assume this is fine for the rules since punching Nazis is kinda the whole gist of 196. Also there’s no real rules to follow 🤷‍♀️

Remember when Joe Biden acknowledged his age, promised to only run for one term, and then make room for the next generation of Democrats back in 2020? And then remember when he abandoned that promise, demanded to run in 2024, closed out the field by threatening access to cabinet/donor pools if anyone crossed him, took the primary virtually uncontested, and immediately dropped out after the first debate because he got caught drooling all over himself?

Damn. Remember how this was all because of those damned Michigan Uncommitted voters protesting a genocide of their family and friends?

Honestly, if the Progressive Left is going to waste its vote during an uncontested primary, I question whether they should be allowed to vote at all.

Vote left and feel complicit, to a degree, for that candidates’ policies related to Palestine. Vote right (or not at all) and feel complicit in further violence AND reduction in LGBT+ protections in my home country.

Yep, I made my choice in ‘wasting’ my vote. Crazy to me when people think not voting will get politicians to suddenly seek out their policies, when instead they’ll just shift further to the right to capture politically active voters across the aisle.

Do you (presumed non-voter) feel responsible for any of what was just shot through executive orders today?

The Antichrist will not act alone in his destruction. Revelation tells us of three figures that will act together. The unholy trinity in the Bible consists of three key figures: Satan (the opposite of God), the Antichrist (the opposite of Jesus the Son of God), and the false prophet (the opposite of the Holy Spirit)

Musk is the false Prophet. He promised a Solar-Punk future by combining capitalism with eco friendly technologies. A way out, bridging the generational gap. A true visionary.

Well, all fake, all lies, that guy is a Nazi.

GOD is untouchable, unknown and all mighty. The Satan pendant here would be Putin.

Regarding their control over most nuclear weapons… that’s a bingo for Apocalypse. (They could extort countries by threatening nuclear strikes. And no one could do anything about it. Fascists in both countries would support it).

        Edit: Made it even darker.

First thoughts: The Antichrist looks like Draco Malfoy if he were the son of the billiards man from Homestuck.

I’m not religious and so do not believe in any prophesies at this time, but I don’t think covid fulfills “…and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.” (Revelation 8:10) The water part seems pretty specific, so it’s something yet to come, and potentially much worse than covid, so that’ll be fun.

The author seems to be stretching things a bit in quite a few places, but it was an interesting read regardless. Maybe Trump will check even more of the boxes in the coming years. Is he doing this on purpose?

e: Realized I hadn’t looked up the quoted verse. There’s supposed to be a star that falls, and that’s what corrupts the waters. Good example of what I mean about the author stretching things.

Sounds an awful lot like a layman’s interpretation of a nuclear strike followed by deaths due to radiation poisoning.

It hasn’t happened yet - to Americans - but it’s definitely not off the table.

Christians have been accepting oppressors taking a piss on the teachings of JC since Constantine The (supposedly) “Great” did it all the way back in ancient times.

I was surprised to learn that Constantine is seen by many thought leaders in the protestant christian communities as a corruptor. Opinions of Constantine makes a fascinating litmus to start separating those who see religion as a source of power from those who see it as a calling to better the world. Not that most lay christians have a clue who he is, or his role in standardizing christianity to the Roman system of government, let alone the structural implications of the move

A theologian I spoke to pointed out that even Martin Luther didn’t revert the changes Constantine wrought, like the holy day being on the sabbath instead of Sunday to commemorate Easter every week. I guess roughly 1200 years of habits are hard to break, when Constantine only had a few hundred years to contend with, and there were so many sects of a very different Christianity even then (Nestorians, Syriacs, Copts etc).

Because they’re actually fascists masquerading as christians because they can use that as an excuse. Any actual christian believer would probably be compelled by their religion to put them to the sword or crucify them for all their sins.
