It seems to work just fine for the right, so I’m not sure why there’s a double standard on the left. The truth is, it’s not really a problem for most people. They just use it and any other excuse they can to justify voting against the left party or leftist politicians. This is often because they support racist, misogynistic, or authoritarian ideas that sound bad when said out loud. So instead, they look for reasons to say the other person is bad and can’t be voted for.

I expect some people will respond by trying to point out how bad the left is over the right for some reason, which only ends up proving my point. It’s likely that anyone who does this is just trying to deflect from their own side’s issues rather than addressing the real problems.

Edit just to add: Saying the left is bad is one thing, saying they are worse than the right or shit only smells when they do it is just ludicrous…

If wealth inequality is getting worse and the president tells me that I’m doing great despite my proportional wealth being less than a medieval peasant then that means the President is lying.

The difference between religiously indoctrinated bigots and the college educated is you can’t lie to to college educated and have them love you for it.

If they were honest about the economy, instead of trying to gaslight people who can see they are being gaslit, then they would have had more support.

But aknowledging wealth inequality means Neoliberals aknowledging their role in perpetuating wealth inequality, and forcing their rich doners to make concessions, which they are to cowardly to do.

The best part about Biden’s presidency was not having to read the news because the president was gonna make a huge mess the next day.

Ask someone to repeat the talking point of the Republicans and then ask them about the Democrats. I bet everyone knows about woke, crime immigration and so on. The Republicans run on culture wars and anger to get more interaction like social media.

I know what you mean, but while he’s here, we could use someone like Biden to run our country. The Schoof coalition is a shit show, not really due to Schoof personally though.

My family has been paycheck to paycheck since about 2012, nothing has changed for that. I don’t care about the stock market, I care about an income for the low income people like me. No president in my life time has done that.

Trump never will, Biden could have put pressure on congress and chose not to.

Anyone who bothers paying attention knew Republicans were going to fuck our economy up. They always do. But even I am shocked at how fast it’s happening.

Doesn’t matter. This country is too stupid to learn from mistakes. And down the ship goes.

The true death of American manufacturing, an overvalued tech bubble that will bring down the global economy, and massive deregulation of financial rules that will end in the worst financial crisis since the Great depression?

      That’s the economy you want?

A tech bubble that will pop in 2 years and a real estate bubble that will pop in 8? I think we already do.

The democrats must be so giddy. They don’t need to move to the left one iota as long as Trump and MAGA is fucking up this bad.

No hope. No change. Corporatist#67 for 2028!
