Why is someone with clearly zero training or physical ability allowed to wear the word “POLICE” like that?

Jeeeesus, spent all that time going at it like a couple walruses on a beach and didn’t even get the guy.

    That was ice?

I saw two criminals assaulting a random innocent person and trying to kidnap him. Assault service of course provided by the “I wanna have the Nobel Peace Prize” president

I highly doubt these men were paid by the government. No M16 or M4, no helmet and vest for home boy, foreign vehicle. These were right wing psychopath kidnappers.

The guy the arrested was fat too, but clearly he actually fucking worked in his life.

He was able to resist those pieces of shit until they gave up.

No one attacked them and just heckled the shit out of them. Couldn’t subdue one man between the two of them, then ran away when the realized the world still thinks they are pieces of shit.

They looked like some sort of local chapter militiamen dipshits. Fucking meal team 6, wannabe warriors that probably even get turned down by their own hands.

LOL because ICE has been operating that way since at least 30 years, this didn’t start overnight. If you didn’t want a quasi-military force with no-warrant arrest powers, the time to complain was in the '90s.

Or you can blame Russia. That always works.

I’d like to see how putting a bullet in masked kidnappers who are not in police uniform and refuse to show badge numbers holds up or not in court. Like how is anyone going to know the difference? It’s just self defense. Genuinely curious - is there precedent for that?

Well, the Derossett case in 2019 confirmed that you can shoot plainclothes police who don’t identify themselves if they’re kidnapping someone from your home. Presumably that would extend to yourself too. Outside your property, I dunno. But as a bystander, there is tons of legal precedent that you can kill someone in the act of committing an armed robbery or some other forcible felony even if it’s not directed at you, and that killing is not a crime. Murder, rape, and kidnapping also fall into this forcible felony category.

My best guess is a lower court would correctly conclude with a not guilty verdict, and it would keep getting appealed with a fast track to reaching the Supreme Court because ICE are a gang of losers. And then it depends on the can of worms that the Supreme Court is willing to open to appease their daddy.

There’s no way that was ICE. NO US organization has ever bought a foreign vehicle for official use.

Usually government rentals are done through a single servicer contracted by the government that matches you with a rental company or they can be directly rented with a government credit card.

The issue here is it’s basically every car rental place and there’s not really a way for the rental place to check what branch of the government it is. It could be ICE, it could be the department of state, the national park service. So basically you would have to boycott every rental agency that rents to the government regardless of agency and that is effectively all of them

I used to work security for racing events. Ive had to detain more than more fair share of assholes. I am not a good fighter, but I can pretty much anyone on the ground and restrained ready for pick up by the cops. What we saw here in this video, was a joke. That wasnt any kind of trained person looking to detain someone. That was as amateur as it gets. That was like a comedy skit of how undertrained these supposed ICE agents are.

If you see someone trying to restrain someone, and it looks like this. They are not professional people. They are more than likely MAGA ICE fanboys kidnapping someone. Defence of self and/or others applies. If you dont want to do that, call the cops. Report a kidnapping in progress. Lie if you want, and claim its a child abduction. They will come running then.

I can’t believe I just watched that many people for that long do absolutely fuck all.

In my country, within seconds, people would be running in from off-screen and absolutely wailing on those two. And they’d relish doing it.

A nation of sheep gripped by fear, controlled by whoever wants it.

At second 46/47 you can see how one of the agents grabbed to his weapon (not pulling it) without pretty much any hesitation.
So it foors like if they werent in such a public space they would have definetly used it (and if its only for scaring)

The problem is the people standing around don’t want to become victims themselves. I was wishing they’d do more through the whole video but, if they did, they’re running the risk of a 20+ year prison sentence.

That said, I think there is plenty of plausible deniability here. There is nothing to say these two are actually officers. Only one of them is in “uniform” and that uniform is something anyone could buy.

That’s what I was thinking - much as I wanted them to do more, it looked like the bystanders were being careful to do everything they could that wouldn’t invite immediate escalation - making clear they were filming, moving dropped material away when they got a chance, and generally slowing down the whole process considerably.

If it’s any consolation, as a US-ian watching this, my mind was racing through all the things I wanted to do. The kidnappers are all-in focusing on the victim, with stress probably fogging up their brains. Anyone with an iota of mental discipline and a moment to strategize would have an advantage over them.

I kept thinking how easy it would probably be to remove their masks and sunglasses. Their hands are full, what are they gonna do? They could let go of the victim (win!) to re-cover their faces, or they could let their faces be visible (smaller win) and whatever comes of that, comes of that.

Then I remembered that I’ve got pepper spray, and this video may be the kick I need to actually start carrying it full-time.

You do not understand that this is not your country, clearly.

There are cameras everywhere. Anyone not prepared to mask themselves could easily be arrested later by police.

In top of this, Trump wants violence. When things are solved like this, without violence, Trump gets more frustrated and angry… And he resorts to using footage from years ago to try to anger his base, which is already very disillusioned with him over a number of things (Epstein files, Tarrifs, Qatar military base.)

What happened here was smart. What you are suggesting is destructive to our country.
