“The measles gave you lifetime protection against measles infection,” - Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

If only there was another proven way of doing this without the risk of serious complications of getting sick.

I have a young child. I have absolutely ZERO interest in them being harmed by completely ignorant policy. Fuck this guy & fuck this regime.

The fun part is you can do everything right, and your child can still be harmed because the asshats living near you don’t trust science because it makes them feel dumb.

Isn’t that fun? Yippee! What a time to be alive (for now)!

At the risk of being banned, I hope this guy gets the Mushroom Kingdom treatment. He has the potential to snuff out exponentially more American and global lives than the most bloodthirsty immigration detective or prosecutor.

Didn’t you hear?! Harris was 100% on board with killing all the Palestinians!

Even though she wasn’t but that doesn’t matter because all voting is corrupt and doesn’t mean anything.

Harris’ policies didn’t sufficiently match my personal preferences, so I voted for the guy who hates me.

Or what of there was some way to give everyone a tiny dose of the measles so that their immune system can learn it and attack it without even getting sick??

Maybe if they make the virus weakened or figure out some way to deactivate it?

Gosh, someone should work on this. It’s a great idea…

We’ve got a 100% true-American patriot company willing to do the invovled research, testing, and manufacturing involved in this endeavor, and it will only cost the taxpayers $500 billion dollars.

Then Predisent Trump can say he’s wiped out measles.

Maybe if they make the virus weakened or figure out some way to deactivate it?

How will that serve the interests of the eugenicists who believe disease is a powerful tool of ethnic cleansing and of purging people with disabilities?

Hey whoa, hammers catching strays. I’m no tradesman myself but hammers are quite useful (when used appropriately) and have a number of uses outside of just driving home nails. Edit* <insert Dr. Evil-esque laugh>

Maybe we could make a weakened form of the virus that would give you immunity without getting you sick? That way everyone could get measles without a lot of people dying.

We could call it “a vaccine.”

And what if this “weakened form” gives you autism? Have you thought about that?

Edit: guess this needed a ‘\s’

Well gee, if that were a possibility, we could do research to see if that was the case, like multiple times, each time showing that it’s NOT THE FUCKING CASE. Autism DOES NOT result from measles vaccination.

The MMR Vaccine and Autism https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6768751/

Does Vaccination Increase the Risk of Autism Spectrum Disorder? https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9464417/ Conclusions

According to our review, there is no link between the development of ASD and immunization. The dramatic increase in the prevalence of ASD created widespread concern. Many theories have been offered to explain the link between vaccination and the development of autism, including changes in immune system function, abnormal organic acid synthesis, mercury toxicity, the effects of gliamorphin on cerebral function, and the link between MMR and autism. However, all these theories remain theoretical, and our review finds no evidence of a link between them and the development of autism. Parents experienced vaccination reluctance following the release of the Wakefield study on the supposed MMR vaccine-autism relationship. It raises concern and challenges vaccine acceptance among parents, leading to the re-emergence of vaccine-preventable diseases. It still raises concern in some parents; we recommend that public health officials continue to advocate and encourage vaccination. The public may require more studies to rule out the association between ASD and vaccination.

The recommended amount of carrots is very reasonable. Only 12 per meal. (no not the baby carrots ha ha)

“Never interrupt the enemy when they are making a mistake”

But the rest of you - You might wanna consider a MMR booster, maybe a TDAP while you are at it. We like keeping the good guys around…
