Where is it $2? What state? I travel the entire East Coast for work, and I haven’t seen gas below $2.50 since the peak of Covid.
I’m in Florida, and it cycles between $2.90 and $3.20 on a predictable cycle. It’s about $2.95 today, and it will be at $2.89 by the weekend, then jump to $3.20 next Monday or Tuesday, guaranteed. The cheapest gas on the East Coast is always South Carolina, and I haven’t seen it below $2.60, and it’s usually in in the $2.80s.
